Meet your Facilitators
All classes are suitable for all levels (modification and progressions always available). At least 6 months of pole experience is required.
We bring different perspectives to the table, but we're united by a love for artistic exploration that goes beyond choreographed movement and a one-size-fits-all approach to technical work.
Temper (she/her)
Workshops: Sensual Floor, Edgework, Socks & Sensuality
Jaylah found pole while preparing for a boudoir shoot. She felt cute, but not connected, and that kind of disconnect shows up in photos.
What keeps her coming back is the freedom, and a quiet disbelief that she is strong enough, capable enough, just enough to feel proud of what she creates. Pole keeps proving that wrong, and she keeps showing up to test it.
At her core, Jaylah is an embodied movement facilitator. She believes in making space for freedom, grit, and nuance all at once while honoring technique without being ruled by it.
Her movement is slinky, full of reverb and speed changes.

Maxine Mae (she/her)
Workshop - Milked (Static Lingering)
Maxine came to pole for the outfits. Fully, unapologetically, for the outfits. What started as an excuse to wear silly little things has since become a full-blown obsession.
In true Leo fashion, she lives for drama and artistic expression — slow, gooey movement that looks effortless, juxtaposed with edgework that keeps it interesting. She's drawn to the kind of dancing that looks like it isn't trying.
In her class, the goal is simple: move in a way your body is longing for. She creates space to linger, play, and stay curious — no rush, no formula, just permission to explore.

Joye (she/her)
Workshop - Pole Straps: Suspend & Surrender
Joye found pole in 2022 the way she finds most things — through her yearly tradition of picking a new activity instead of making resolutions. She'd heard it was hard, which was basically all the convincing she needed. Pole brought her back to the art and dance side of herself she'd left behind in high school, and came with a community she genuinely loves.
When she's teaching, her goal is simple: help you discover what moves you. She takes a collaborative approach and believes everyone in the room has their own idea of what that is — her job is just to help you find it.
Her style is tricks and combos — floor is lava, unexpected connections between moves, and never letting her audience guess what's coming next.

Venus (she/her)
Workshop: Spin Pole Exploration
Venus found pole in 2020 in New Orleans, in the middle of a pandemic, in classes kept small by necessity. What she found was catharsis — a place where the chaos outside couldn't follow. The thing that felt impossible one week became a little more accessible the next, and that loop got a hold of her early. More than the tricks or the progress, pole is where she comes back to herself. After a practice, she breathes a little easier.
In the room, she believes bodies are capable of far more than we give them credit for — and that her job is to hold space while mind and body learn to trust each other.
Her style is experimental and strength-driven, with a particular love for drops, thread-thrus, and slow transitions that make a sequence feel inevitable.
